Ballajura Harmony Festival

28th of March 2010 – Karijini Park, South Ballajura

The CCC was once again invited to perform at the Ballajura Harmony Festival at Karijini Park. The City of Swan in partnership with Ballajura Youth and Community Venture Inc, Ballajura Lions Club and South Ballajura Primary School has organized this community event to celebrate Harmony Day. The aim of Ballajura Harmony Day is to bring harmony to the community.

The event featured activities such as African drumming workshops, Henna Tattoos, and International Food Sampling. Participants were entertained by local performers, African Reggae Bands, and the Chinese Lion Dance.

The Troupe performed a 2 Lion performance, and entertained the crowd with a number of high jumping stunts, and crowd interactions. This performance was well enjoyed by all who was watching, especially the children.

The CCC Lion Dance Troupe will like to thank Amanda and the City of Swan for allowing us to once again participate in this community event, and we look forward to performing for you next year.
