Victoria Park Summer Street Festival

10th December 2018 – Victoria Park Main Street Grounds

It was time again for the annual Vic Park Summer Festival! With its second year running, the town of Vic Park was turned into a street festival where there were a large variety of foods, art stalls, various entertainment stages, rides, and street entertainment.

The CCC Lion Dance’s performance featured the lions and the music roaming down Albany Hwy and interacting with the attendees of the festival. The Lions then put on a performance in the heart of Vic Park with the 1000s gathered around. It was indeed a performance enjoyed by many. And yet again the festival was another successful one with the attendees enjoying the festivities and the beautiful Perth weather.

Thanks so much to Ken and the organisers of the festival, we hope to see you guys at the 3rd annual summer festival.

PASKO Extravaganza

10th December 2018 – Yagan Square

The CCC Lion Dance Troupe had the extinct honor to perform at the Pasko Extravaganza, a Phillipines multicultural festival organised by FCCWA.

The CCC Led the opening ceremony of the festival by leading the parade of the participants to the main stage where the troupe then commenced their lion dance performance. The performance was to showcase the Chinese cultural lion dance but also to bless this festival. The festival featured many other cultural entertainment as well as dance and singing.

Overall the festival was a great ongoing success. The CCC Lion dance troupe would like to thank Reynaldo Padernilla and the FCCWA for inviting us to participate in this wonderful event.
